GATO SALES AND BEYONDBLUE
We have decided to get involved with the mental health charity Beyondblue to raise awareness of depression, suicide and anxiety in our community.
Depression and anxiety affect approximately three million Australians, especially those in the civil construction and agricultural industries. This is a staggering statistic and it is something that almost all of us has been touched by whether directly or to someone we know. It is because of this that we wanted to get involved to help build awareness and contribute to the great work Beyondblue are doing to support those in need.
Gato Sales has committed to donating $50 from the sale of every Kobelco excavator and Everdigm rock breaker towards Beyondblue.
You will see the signs of Gato Sales building this awareness through regular social media campaigns, print media and in branch advertising to help promote the work Beyondblue do.
Most Australians have some experience with anxiety and depression or related disorders, whether it is personal or via family, friends or work colleagues. beyondblue’s work is aimed at achieving an Australian community that understands depression and anxiety, empowering all Australians, at any life-stage, to seek help. Beyondblue raises awareness, reduces stigma and ensures people have access to the information they need to support recovery, management and resilience.
Beyondblue is a national, independent, not-for-profit organisation and a bipartisan initiative of the Australian, state and territory governments.
Beyondblue works in partnership with health services, schools, workplaces, universities, media and community organisations, as well as people living with depression, anxiety and related disorders and their carers, to bring together expertise and provide tools and resources.
Beyondblue is:
· Increasing awareness of depression and anxiety
· Reducing stigma and discrimination
